David Jacobs-Strain is nationally touring slide guitar player and story teller; he first played the Newport Folk Festival at nineteen years old and has since toured with Boz Scaggs, Etta James, The Doobie Brothers, and Lucinda Williams. David plays a virtuosic, percussive style of slide guitar rooted in the blues, and writes stories in the tradition of John Prine, Todd Snider, and Steven Stills. David is working on a new record with Colorado music legend Kenny Passarelli.

Michelle McAfee weaves unforgettable melodies and vivid stories. Splitting her time between southern Oregon and remote McCarthy, Alaska infuses her music with a sense of adventure inspired by wild people and wild places. Michelle has been a staff writer for Warner Music publishing and shared the stage with, G Love & Special Sauce, The Indigo Girls. Michelle is the co-creator of the artist collective One Soul, which takes music and art into prisons.

Michelle and David will each play their own sets, and back each other up on lead guitar, mandolin and harmonies. They'll also sneak in some of the swampy grooves like "Slow Train" and "Biscuits and Gravy" they have made up on the road together. Please join us for an evening of fun and passionate music!
